  DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF REGENERATIVE BRAKING SYSTEM Department of  Automation Engineering ABSTRACT       The Regenerative braking system will be used to convert the mechanical energy and also heat that would have been lost during breaking into electrical energy. Brakes are employed to stop or retard the motion of any moving body. Thus, in automobiles the brakes are having the most important function to perform .They energy crises and the resources are depleting at a higher rate, there is a need of specific technology that recovers the energy, which gets usually wasted.
